argh. what is the point of getting the n1 which is stuck with gingerbread? i mean that phone would provide a horrible user experience now that i am used to a quad core running gingerbread!

Galaxy nexus is of course nowhere hear
one x in terms of sheer power but the user interface on stock
android is still pretty smooth.
one of my major issues with one x is that htc has made a mess of small things that annoys me highly compared to my past experience on stock android on nexus s. going back to gingerbread is simply out of the question
for me, stock android ics is what i love. nothing else works!
May be you can give some more time. No device is perfect and you learn to overcome the shortcomings along the time. Temptations for a new phone will always be there but the one which you have right now is still the best! (albeit some small issues)

amazingly enough, i cannot think of one phone in the market right now that i want to buy. one x looked interesting. did not like it at all. have to wait for something spectacular to arrive now.
Something spectacular now when the technology is almost saturated is very tough...
