Congrats for getting new phone that you were waiting for :)I hope after few days of usage, your annoyance towards phone comes down, and HTC provides timely upgrades for some issues observed.

Wow... not a good time for HTC! This is seriously piss poor performance on part of their QA dept. First the One X with the banding issues, and now the One S with the chipping issues within days of purchase!! Wow!

chromamanic, i got to see some screen protector for one x on ebay. but doesn;t seem good to buy. seems like cheap quality. what do you suggest

^ unfortunately, 99% of the screen protectors sold here are absolutely sh**. I would recommend going to a store and buying whatever they have (Rs. 150 - 300). It will probably be sh** too but at least they will put it properly. Otherwise, if you want a good screen protector, you have to wait it out till the people at XDA etc. try out the various brands and give feedback. For e.g. with my HTC Desire, the best screen protector turned out to be the free one you got with case mate cases. That's something I would never have guessed, but sure enough the screen protector is mileeeeeeeeeeees ahead of local brands!! Also......... doesn't the One X have corning gorilla glass? Do you really need a screen protector?

it has gorilla glass. but that does not mean that it would not get scratched eventually. i am waiting for zagg to launch invisibleshield for the one x. there are other brands out there but i have had good experience with zagg so i plan to stick with it.

@Admin

That's right, folks: Instagram now supports HTC One X -- Engadget

yeah saw that. i removed instagram after they got sold to facebook. not using it sir jee anymore. :)

well they have not responded to any of my comments... twitter? nope. google plus? nope. but if i post a favorable comment? i would get a response rather quickly. no followup. i wonder why companies prefer to behave like douche bags. why not respond to genuine complaints from actual owners of your products?

More issues! Yey.

I am noticing a very faint red colored light coming from the left of the HTC logo. Strangely, on camera it appears like a bright white colored light. I am confused now.

A better shot!

I am guessing it is the proximity sensor that has somehow managed to start glowing up!
