lol hahahaha. Now do u accept Samsung is best?

:| just because i have had no issues with my nexus s does not mean that their phones are rock solid out of the box. i have owned a nexus one too and it had no issues for the time i owned it. and it's body structure was much rigid compared to nexus s. i am planning to visit the htc service center in my city. apparently it is the same old one where i visited with my friend couple of years ago when he had issues with his windows mobile powered htc smartphone. i remember it being a not very nice experience and i am hoping to get more disappointed today.

i wonder why companies prefer to behave like douche bags. why not respond to genuine complaints from actual owners of your products?

...and that too high-end products!

Seller wants a DoA certificate from the authorized HTC Service Center to replace the phone. I went to the HTC Service Center in my city. They told me the following:1. Phone is yet not available in the retail market. 2. HTC has not yet provided them the tools to diagnose the issue.3. I should come back next week by when they would try to get the necessary software from HTC. My phone is behaving properly. But the random occurring of garbage display and sensors showing a dim red light are definitely a worrying factor.

One S is not even launched in India.

One X? based on my experience visiting their service center today, unlikely.

----------

btw, they have not talked about replacing the One X model. they basically claimed that CNET was probably using a sample unit and not the final product. essentially, they are just trying to ignore the problem.

Not available in retail market?Online shopping stores are not categorized under retail?

The guy was surprised that I had the unit in my hands for around a week now. He was also surprised at the price of the phone considering it was below the market price of the phone. Apparently they saw the phone for the first time today. Everyone wanted to get their hand on it.

This ugly trend was started by Apple with iPhone 4.Companies feel they can get away with it by claiming it as a non issue. In India, once you have a product in your hand and turns out to be a dud, no one is going to give you money back. They will put the blame squarely on you.
