whenever i am traveling in metro, i have to kept myself busy with the phone. so it has always been in tight control in my hands.

i actually bought 2 cargoes after buying the one x phone

of course i would be very careful with the phone when traveling in public transport.

it applies to any phone actually. it's not that only expensive phones are stolen in crowds.

thieves would steal anything that is accessible to them.

at least we can minimise the loss by not having expensive phone if regularly using public transport

of course. smartphones have additional expenses. i am a bad example of course. i have already spent 1500 bucks for the zagg skin. i could have gone for a cheaper brand but decided against it. i also plan to go for the official dock of this phone. not released yet but i am assuming that it would cost a couple of thousand bucks. i would not be doing so if i went for a featurephone. the fact remains... smartphones today as a delicate piece of equipment and demand a lot of care if you want them to last.

It's a completely different day here in Mumbai. The incident took place in a first class compartment, and today even second class passengers are getting into first class due to the disruption. So chances of theft is very high. One should be very careful in such situation. He was in the passage way where the movement of commuters is maximum.Fully agree that he should have been more careful especially today.

Just reset the phone as the courier guys are coming to collect the phone.

BTP states that it could take them as long as 15 days to get the replacement.

Ok. This is a serious question. Anyone here interested in buying a HTC One X at a slight discount from the market. If anyone is indeed interested, I would give him the box as it comes to me unopened. So, it would practically be a new unit. The only issue would be that the warranty period would be a bit shorter.

of course the price i paid does not matter right. am talking about the prices currently applicable i am of course not willing to lose a lot of money on this deal. i am just looking for a reasonable offer. might end up getting a Galaxy nexus later on.
