well... most dealers and service centers would probably try to get the problem repaired.

if it is less than a month old and the problem is a manufacturing defect, it depends upon the customer to fight for a replacement.

laws are not very consumer friendly. there are no regulations on returning a faulty product.

Flipkart has a 30 day replacement guarantee, never had to use it though

yeap. i originally wanted to purchase it through flipkart even if their price was slightly on the higher side for this exact reason. too bad they did not have the product available when i ordered the phone. they had a waiting period for around a week for the delivery. i guess i am not going to be one of the early bird buyers next time around. i have learnt my lessons. i have used this offer in the past. they delivered a mixer grinder juicer to my place which had a part missing. they replaced it... no questions asked. even though my mom had used it for a day or two. took us all that time to find out that the pusher (for the juicer was missing from the delivery). it was pretty much a manufacturing fault (missing part in the package basically).

N1 and NS never gave me a problem. Linea had some issues earlier on but has been rock solid for the last 1.5 years. Man. You are just mocking my bad luck now!

ah well. you can say so. there are very few materialistic things that i care about and i prefer them to be in good shape.

the first 1-1.5 years of owning a car are frightening with scares related to dents and scratches. same applies to the first six months of owning a smartphone.

eventually you get used to the wear and tear. but the first couple of days of ownership expects sheer pleasure from the object in question. does not matter if it is a 35K phone or a 8.5L car!
