@Chip it's not the same here. During
ADSL my Local exchange was nice enough to resolve speed/connectivity issues (copper issues) on the same day or very next day.
Now with FTTH, My LCO holds Zero knowledge over how the connection even works. All he knows is to check power and see if the LOS is blinking red.
My every complaint, be it latency or speed issues are handled by Local BSNL exchange and the JTO always sends the complaint to the respective department with the screenshots so that it gets resolved ASAP.
Even for IPv6, He sent all the screenshots to my District Head Office and the people there were saying that "IPv6 is not available in MH".
If only I had a screenshot which shows it works in MH.
It's been 4 months and today, I finally made them accept that IPv6 works in Maharashtra and It needs to work for me as well.
They're finally willing to work on it and for the first time they asked me my current configuration, device info,
mac address and stuff to troubleshoot.
I would've really appreciated your help when I made a post here asking about IPv6 in MH where I remember you talked about it working for you but didn't provide me a screenshot or anything that could help me. That time too I didn't say that you're lying or I need proof to accept that it works for you. Just a screenshot was needed to make BSNL (my district) believe that it works.
Anyways its all in the past and I hope that they fix it. If it's done and starts working I'll share the details with you
