Jammu & Kashmir: BSNL Bharat Fiber New Plans (30/100/200/300mbps)

@Tenet i bought a dual band router becoz Wifi on the Syrotech ONT that they provide is very bad. I used to get 20-30 up and down and ping times were very unstable.

@Sanchit3412 yes I know that , but on those Chinese ont , even minor settings, firmware version can create lot of changes . I used to get max 20-30Mbps on some and even 10-15Mbps on mi phones and full speed via lan @50-55Mbps. But some changes solved it for me atleast. Getting a dual band router is always helpful with other additional features. I have ordered archer a6 ( which is same as c6) , because in future that would be helpful and I know TP-Link devices work for years without any issue.

Also note I think the most common issue is wpa encryption, i had changed it to wpa mixed , but nowadays i am using wpa2.

Thanks for the advice but i am already on WPA2 mixed and as i mention earlier my link speed is 150 Mbps so it should support close to 100 Mbps, can you tell me what link speed it shows in your device?

Asked my Cousin who lives in Kathua to check if he can see the new plans on his selfcare portal and he was able to see those plans and even applied for Fiber Value via the portal just now and it was submitted successfully, even got the E-mail which states that the new plan shall be updated within 2-3 business days.

If he gets the new plan then it'll prove that the new plans are for the whole of Jammu SSA and not just Jammu city.

@AMITSHARMA064 Maybe you should try again.

@CHOPSHOT no i cant since i am on bsnl adsl broadband ,which i am using as a secondary connection and a netplus connection as primary.If these plans are applicable ,will shift to bsnl fiber and surrender netplus.

@CHOPSHOT If I remember correctly it was 72 Mbps earlier on my laptop and then changed to 144Mbps wpa vs wpa2/mixed. I can’t think of anything else, you can reset ont once , you just need to note down details for your account first.
