even though you can sell it to urban people , but they would consider this supposed party as a amateur one and wont vote (as they used to)

^^The sad reality

Ye bhi hai twitter par :haha:

Twitter
wrong. he just got a friend request on FB from kim jong II of north korea !

what would you do with https if the site itself is totally banned at the ISP level? just like how they blocked access to blogger, typepad, etc etc.

Freaking duma$$

What if I use https, can they still filter my contents?

You didnt get the full implication

He wants FB,etc to have humans review each and every posted item on the site

If you update your status:it should be approved

if you upload a photo it should be approved

essentially any and every action performed by you on a social site needs to be govt. approved

Its just encryption protocol , since it will be monitored at site end (FB / google etc ) , so yes it can be filtered in theory , coz in reality , filtering such huge traffic is near to impossible.. One reason i cant be on twitter for a long time , i simply cant follow the rate at which tweets pour in.. Its very hard to read , especially when you know there are 100+ waiting to be read.. !! :D

exactly. since they want every single piece of content to be scanned by a human which is of course not possible... indian government would have to change their stance or go for a blanket ban over these services. i am sure these are just pressure tactics to get them to agree to a broad set of censorship that would mean that your identities would not be protected and content that annoys them can get regular folks in trouble.
