Low speeds :(

hi friends,

I use BSNL
Home 500 C plan wherein I must get speeds upto 2Mbps but the maximum Downstream that my router shows is 1021kbps







The specs are provided in the image
Can someone tell me how to make it 2041kbps?(all my friends who have taken the same plan have 2041kbps)


Is the problem with my modem or with the connection?

u have a problem with line man.......get the bsnl officer and they will fix it....i once had the problem.......

Modem UT300R2U. low line speed D/L 1021 Kbps. @member/lonewarrior_kc/Welcome to Broadbandforum.in.Change the Mod to GDMT, ADSL ,ADS2 + ,or T413 and compare. Probably the mod was GDMT. What is shown is line speed, and actual d/l will vary. Check your actual speed at speedtest.net same servers say Mumbai and Brisbane for future reference./comparison/as standard.To check your line condition report SNR/Attn Data. There are various other parameters, about which most of us don't know much ! Some other expert users can interpret the data and advise youShould not have edited the modem screen shot page.
