Yup. Asus is one of the dick companies which has exclusive tieup with Flipkart for one product and it complains about other products being sold online. Assuming it is on that list. Almost everyone is!

lol. you are saying that Asus is exclusively selling zenphone through flipkart so that they can tell the owners to fuck off when they contact them for warranty support? :D

Lol.. Exactly.. With their earlier behavior towards their products bought online, their exclusive launch online can be meant as manufacturing and selling for cheap and not worry about warranty...

Not worrying about warranty means huge savings and hence low price, right...

No. Not worrying about warranty means damaging your last piece of reputation online which nowdays costs you both in online and offline retail world. Ask Samsung.

Asus did what it had to do to survive. Selling exclusively online means lower costs automatically so why take warranty off the table? And its specified on the page. That would be lying and cheating something which both Asus and Flipkart wants to avoid.

Ya. That's the ultimate truth. But then they also have to honor warranty of all products sold online (which will be actually good for them).

From customer point of view, it's better to think that Asus will never honor the warranty and buy it, if they still want to have it..
