MTNL Broadband: ADSL light on, but no internet connectivity

I think the problem is resurfacing again,not able to access the modem page :wall: and some sites are not opening completely

Yes those dreaded problems have resurfaced since yesterday evening & it seems there is still no respite from the monster. All those unwanted symptoms are back yet again & those MTNL 'customer care' people are clueless as when it will be resolved once & for all God please help us & the 'MTNL' !

It makes no difference at all, I tried that (many pages ago ) when it was suggested to me, its one of the symptoms of 'April Problems'

So if at all we have to abandon Triband once & for all due to all these 'April Problems', which other broadband option we have here in Mumbai which is stable, good speed like Triband & doesn't disconnect every now & then & has good good customer service ? Not to mention, reasonable tariffs with transparency in billing.

Oh gosh! Finally able to browse the forum now. @Sushubh. Don't know what was the issue, didnt use open dns though. Now working properly. Mtnl

@ above.I won't change it though Alternate option for Mtnl would be Airtel but they do have their Fup

did anyone get call from MTNL reg. downloading too much? I got a call on 28/29th Apr. saying "Sir apke pass night unlimited plan hai na?"I say Yes.Sir download bahu zada ho raha hai?I say "Ya so?" Anyone received any such calls?
