MTNL (General) MTNL to upgrade broadband speed

No you are confusing two different plans. There are two plans in the advertisement (Broadband Trial )

1. Free 2Mbps upgrade for all existing broadband customers. Effective from 1 Oct 2015. FUP status is yet unknown.

2. Free 2Mbps plan for 1 month for all MTNL landline users who don't use MTNL broadband. Effective from 17 Sept 2015 to 15 Dec 2015. This has FUP of 6GB.
 
Free 2 Mbps upgrade definitely means new FUP limits on 512k/768k/1 Mbps plans. Though no official declaration yet.

well what can you expect from MTNL when they cant even give more then 6GB while charging Rs.1099. Other plans like 512/768/1024 kbps unlimited plans cost lower then 1099. I'm wondering 512kbps Unlimited users will get 100MB of 2mbps :D
 
why change that? its already 2mbps, they just need to complete formality of giving 2mbps speed for all plans.
 
Well that.would have been sane thing.to.do.but our entire.broadband.industry doesn't care much for their consumers :\
