Afaik a decent wifi router costs 2500. I don't know how much a modem/router combo costs.I am not very fast at typing on a cell phone.

Looking through the tariff plans, i decided to opt for BBG FN Combo 500. The bandwidth seems 'upto 2Mbps'. So, that means the speed can vary at times from 256Kbps to 2Mbps or what? It also has a night 2am to 8am unlimited usage. What'd be the speed i'll get during that time?

If your line will be alright, you can pretty much expect to get the entire 2mbps all the time.

Try FN Combo 600, for Rs. 100 extra, you get 1 GB more on bandwidth. For both plans if line conditions are good you get 200 + KBps and in some cases, up to 240 KBps.

2200 is what the retailer is asking. I tried to bargain but he's stern. I checked the web for the pricing but then i couldn't find anything other than some ebay deals. Ebay rate:2480/-
