They took almost that much in my case even after regular follow up calls. They can do it in less than a week's time, but you know how things work at BSNL. Call them daily and enquire the status, better talk to those who are handling the broadband section than dealing with admin people. BSNL has outsourced installation, so that won't be a problem. But those freelancers still need username and password which should be activated by BSNL people.
