From the experience of Asha 311 which I had, 206 too should have mini usb port, else Blue tooth will be the only option.
You can select all the contacts and send via Bluetooth to the new phone

now i have a desktop without bluetooth connectivity :D
dad has a chromebook. looks like i am going to do it the old fashioned way. :

mhm. i have not explored the phone enough. i guess i would give pc suite a try. the Nokia support thread linked on the Nokia 501 thread here on the forum did indicate that 206 is supported by PC Suite but 501 is not :
https://goo.gl/o8T9B does not list Nokia 206 :

ok. the phone definitely does not have a usb port.
God damned Nokia... Cannot use Micro-USB charging port on a 3500 rupee phone. :

So, almost six days have passed. Number has not switched. Who do I contact to get an update on my request? Vodafone too has not sent any person for verification of the new owner of the number which I read is supposed to happen as well.
Chill. The porting will take place on the 7th day and you will get a notice on the 8th! From personal experience!
