Problems with Reliance Broadband Thunder Plans

Not me...there was an outage yesterday from 9:00am-12:00 as there upgrading something at the backend. Usually i get 3.4mbps on direct downloads and 3.2mbps on torrents. The speeds are pretty much constant with minimal fluctuation. Check if the plan has been implemented at the backend through the portal. I have bolt_1099.

my plan is THUNDER_COMBO_1199. Right now I am getting 0.13 mbps (checked on speedtest). I am really frustrated right now. This is going on from 2 weeks now. I am getting these pathetic speeds round the clock. But the pings are good. 50-60ms to google.com

I have never had those speeds from the day one. I been on your plan few months back and my speeds have always been like i said above. Check you line rate from the router/modem and and check if the right speeds have been applied in your profile. Last but not the least, lodge a ticket through the call centre. The Relationship Managers have a better say in getting things resolved but they aren't accessible directly. They call you back when you put a termination request :nono: leasantry:

I check these values and they are OK. There is some major fault going on in our area. I am considering switch to CONNECT. Do you have any experience with CONNECT ?

I check these values and they are OK. There is some major fault going on in our area. I am considering switch to CONNECT. Do you have any experience with CONNECT ?

oh awesome & superb speed ... gne hostel or lab? when i was back there in 08 speed was not that great .... really happy to see now gne improved a lot ... & btw .... is it deemed to be university now ? there were rumors back in 08 that GNE will soon be a deemed university .. has it become one or still in waiting ?

LoL ... reliance is not even near perfection ... BUT ... it is the only *BEARABLE* ISP in india. For a truely worry free unlimited data usage, the small hiccups are expected.

In lab and hostel both. GNE is Autonomous now, but waiting to become University.

I would suggest Airtel incase pricing is not an issue. I moved back from Airtel to Reliance because my downloading habits are more in line with the unlimited Reliance usage and i don't mind bearing them even if it still works only 22 days in a month layful: . I have had the privilege of having the Airtel 8mbps plan for more than 6 months and i can any day vouch on their QOS. Connect is a good contender but their pricing is not much competitive. Why would anyone choose them over Airtel when the price plans are similar.

i was in polytechnic .... but i spent time with my degree friends too ... also my final sem training was at solidworks course in production lab ... thats how i know speed was not this good back then
