Problems with Reliance Broadband Thunder Plans

Internet went down at 12:00 last night. Called up CC and they said entire north was out. Gave me a time, 6 AM.
I checked internet at 11 AM today and it was working. But, the login portal seems like it is being DDOSed. Takes forever to login. Also I am being randomly logged out as @cisco_tech said.
Service name changed to 1000KB from 1024KB. I can get consistent 128KB/s from YouTube. Twitch still sucks, torrent and IDM is fine.

I'm on Thunder 1099 and I got the same response when I called them. They said entire north is down. Gave me a time of 10 am.
Here is my experience with Reliance CC. The call center agent will do anything to prevent you from filing complaint. I think they are performance-graded based on how many people they are able to satisfy without having to file a complaint. Last time there was a similar outage they kept saying the same thing for 3 days.
"Entire north outage, will be fixed by 2 pm."
" Will be fixed by 5 pm"
Next morning - "12 pm sir"
And went on for 3 days.
Finally I filed a complaint for modem saying that it had caught fire on its own (it did not). The guy who came over I told him the issue. He went to local server and checked and some port was blocked. He fixed it from there. Told me there was no such 'enitre north' outage.

& i am back to that "stock" upload speed again ... but same as others, speed on 2mbps plan :-

Yes that's correct. Showing 2mbps plan on mine as well.
Today login portal was inaccessible in the noon. Now portal is randomly logged out me. Wth is going on ?
Again upgrade bahana or what?
Anyone else facing ?

yup ... ditto ... Yesterday internet connectivity was jerky, sometime it worked & sometimes it didn't, but today is fine with ofcouse the changes as you mentioned.

Something definitely going on. I dont know what it is, but I am getting awesome speed since yesterday. Around 3.5 mbps on 2mbps plan.

Again back to MaxDSL .... Check speed on Transmission (running on DD-WRT Asus RT-N13U) on thunder 699 2mbps plan ...

Reminds me of the time ... the golden time ... when i had 12mbps plan of Freedom 999 :'(
he he he .... Getting this speed on torrents , idms is usually between 400-500kbps mark ..

Sweet speed. I am also getting 4 mbps on 699 plan. Looks like they are again doing something nationwide.

yup i guess so ... youtube HD streaming has never been THIS excellent .... loving it ....
EDIT :- I literallly had to buy a new 1TB hdd as i ran out of space .... lol ... what more could i ask for ... even speed test shows 439KB/s in speed test ... & i am getting nearly 1mbps in torrent transfer ... :tongue:

Can the IP address be changed For the Relaince broadband connection by restarting the router everytime ?

the ip does change since its a dynamic connection.
