Problems with Vodafone India

After dialing 111 for cc nd later whn the ivr says press 9 to spek to someone I Press 9 the whole menu starts to repeat again instead of transferring the call. This is happening all the time. I had to raise complain 5 times now next day it would get fine but if I call after few days again the same thing wtf :notallowed: ??

I've also had this countless times over the past 18 months since I've been with Vodafone.

coming to the topic I just joint vodafone a month bak after leaving airtel for limited options for online recharge facility.

But I am still finding Vodafone much better than airtel :inodding:

We have Airtel for the corporate mobiles and I'm using Vodafone as my personal connection.

are you on prepaid.. same happens with me often... i am on prepaid... do u have a complaint which is being resolved ? because it happened with me when i had a complaint to be resolved.. they had asked me to call after 1 day and then i used to get this problem....
or i guess customer care is not 24x7 for prepaid...
because when this happens with me.. i call them using my mom's postpaid number and customer care is there....

they don't pay much attention to prepaid i guess...

I just took a new vod. connection few weeks back nd I haven't put any complaints till now on it apart from this ivr problem which is the only problem. The cc ppl are saying its some technical problem but I think they have some kind of mechanism where they can just cancel who ever they wish I have had similar issue with airtel too where the ivr would sat plz sms "my airtel" nd would remain in accessible for days even after making a complain.

But advantage with vodafone is that most of vodafone schemes nd offers are available on their site where as airtel site none. So even if cc service is disabled attest the info on the schemes can be easily taken.
 
You guys are facing this problem because your IVR is barred. Vodafone blocks the IVR if customers are calling up the IVR more than 3 or 4 times in the same day (count depends on the segment of the customer). Simply call up the customer care from another no and they would unbar the IVR services.
 
Same issue with Airtel for past many years. You call Airtel CC IVR starts call drops you try this few times and you are blocked from calling their CC.

how to find another number to call from when ur on the move or some market place nd need quick info on recharge value.
btw is there any way to get it unbar nd I only call cc rarely maybe twice a month tht too just for confirming offers.
