vodafone CC suks big time and there network aint good either sometimes bars flactuate so crazy...mobile no. protablty is gonna teach vodafone nd likes of it a nice lesson
I am tired by calling or going to vodafone center. worst customer service. I bought the new no. on 4th nov 2010 and along with that i had activated unlimited BIS plan for 6 months. Within 2 days my service got disconnected sayin u have exceeded the credit limit of 4500 rs and inorder to resume the service you have to pay that much amount. I called up the customer service and they said its their company policy and while buying the service they never informed abt this cr limit thing. So my phone was disconnected for a week or so and i went to customer care to cancel my no.By this time one of the representative said they have to install some services on their side inorder to remove this cr limit. He did that and said you won't get any problems. But again with 3 days my connection was cancel and everyday this call center guys used to al 5-6 times a day saying that your bill is of 10000rs please pay it inorder to resume the service . By this time i was completely pissed off and said i don't want your and i am not gonna pay the bill. Within couple of days they started with the service and i had already decided to not pay the bill even after they had send the correct billing.Another worse thing is that you can't even buffer online videos or youtube even after having unlimited BIS. If you want to view youtube or other online videos you have to use the vodafone-live browser and you charged for viewing it . Complete nonsense thing.I guess the unlimited BIS should be called as RIP OFF scheme.
Dont worry soon you will get reply from Vodafone Customer Care here stating very politely (read robot-ly) that "They found that you have faced inconvenience and ask for all information again"

@ admin:I think Vodafone has a spam bot that posts the same message every time they detect a new rant thread!Wish they'd put in such effort into helping their customers.

I beg to differ. Yes, I have had problems with Vodafone too. However, their network is excellent in Mumbai and unbeatable.
I have had my problems sorted out by simply getting in touch with CC and if necessary, just one level up in worse case scenarios. I have Airtel & Idea connections too. But cannot get rid of those numbers. Waiting for MNP to switch onto Vodafone.
Nice to see VodafoneIndia join this forum - dont care if its a bot or an actual human - as long as they put efforts into resolving problems of Vodafone India customers.
In my opinion bad experience doesn't make the product badI too had issues with vodafone but still use it.I planned to use MNP in future only for better offers than service but now I don't find much difference in offers.
