Exactly, I don't understand how does that solve the last mile connectivity problem if they anyway need permission at the installation premises? Also, I maybe completely wrong but a single ODU won't suffice for 7-8 connections, idk, just a guess.

So much hype and drama for a glorified 5G hotspot. I think LCO who operates on FTTB/H would be able to provide much better internet than Jio AirFiber.

@anmolbhard004 ya they are not providing connections where jio fiber is present as of now and also they are not providing connections to standalone buildings (basically houses with 1 family).

@rajat_ You might be right. Given how their infra is currently.
but technically it might suffice. If they provide only 100Mbps connections to 7 people. That would be 700Mbps bandwidth. Again that will only work in optimal conditions (like that ODU must be close to tower and have clear LOS)
