im thinking to go to lamington road tomorrow and see if i could get any good deal on a 4TB HDD

since on md computers and prime abgb ,both have a significant shortage of HDDs as they have now removed in my guess 80% of the options available before

since i kept searching for HDDs in April 2025 ,i remember both the websites having a ton of options going from 1tb ,2tb ,4tb and so on

but now the available HDDs are barely 10

you know it feels like we are going back to time now

4k video adoption will stop significantly if this continues heck we might need to scale back to 1080p compressed everywhere

i have been personally tracking this particular HDD on md computers and it was 11k last month then it increased to 12.5k and then 12.8k and now this evening i saw the price hike to 13.9k

Don't bother with Red drives if you are not building a NAS. They are meant to be more resilient against vibrations and shock.
If you are buying it for gaming then look for a 7200RPM one, else WD blue is fine for storage.

Hmm well the blue drives are costing the same as red plus hence i thought I’ll take the red plus

Micron exiting consumer ram market:cry: bad times ahead. No more pc for a year or so. These prices will skyrocket maybe 16gb shitty stick will cost 30k.
