The truth is 199 is not a standalone plan. You need a base plan first. Either CC doesn't know this or they are just lying by blaming technical reasons. I would be real afraid of paying upfront for a year as Jio seems so unreliable with their employees lacking training, knowledge and clarity.

Some part of me believes that this is planned incompetence. I know it's can't be true for the CC, local team and everybody else to be so out of touch with what Jio is trying to do, but if anybody can and would do it, it'll be Reliance.

The sales person who had come to my place in June this year had told me that 1) the speed ratio will be 1:1 (download:upload)..
2) The connection (STB) will come with all the cable TV channels..
3) The service will cost me around ₹500 to ₹600.
4) The public IP will be available when the service goes 'commercial'.

Now, that none of these points are made available.. I, as a customer who feel cheated by their Sales Team, have decided to DisConnect.

Another update regarding 199 plan:
1. Got a call from Jio CC, clarified that my 199 plan will be activated soon since there were server issues on Saturday and should have been resolved by midnight just what other Jio support informed me about.
2. They also said 199 plan is indeed a base plan and no prerequisite plan is required for it. I need to select one of the other plans(Bronze, Silver etc) to avail STB and I could go back to 199 plan once chosen plan expires.
3. They also told me that many other customers are facing same issue of plans being queued regardless of which plan it is.

So I urge users in the same boat as me to be patient or try out other means for a solution.

Then i don't need to cancel my connection.
I actually use less than 1tb. Normally 500 - 600 Gb

199(235) plan costs 950 rs per month, which is great.

😂 yes.

For me they said corporate plans are cheaper than normal plans and given that connection.
No announcement about that plans till now.
