Just did a couple of speedtests.
Got 7.5mbps DL and 8.3mbps UL first time; 11.7mbps DL and 8.9mbps UL the second time. (Chennai server).

I am pretty sure that they are stopping free services as the speed of JIO in my area is increasing day by day.

@d5aqoëp I usually keep my JIOFI below my pillow to get BAND 5, You could try it, if you have very low band 40 coverage in your area then it will latch on to 850.

But doesnt it imply that there are some plans which have Night data??

But I think there is none.

Absolutely amazing speeds today.
Band 40 giving 0.02 Mbps.
Band 5 with CA giving 3 Mbps

Same place gave 40-50 Mbps yesterday. This is an achievement for Jio.

This thread, once most active, has gone completely silent!!

So I realized yesterday that I can still make JIO to JIO calls! (non-recharged number)

After calling I also get some strange balance alert (different from other operators)

Its not actually SMS. But my phone asks me "do u want to save this message?"

After saving it shows message from "JM-JioBal"

And something like this:
