Slow play store download.

Since past 2 weeks I'm facing strange issue. Whenever i try to update app or download from play store it takes too much time to update or download. It stuck at "pending" for about 2 minutes and then starts yo download and then midway pause for sometime and the again starts to download.
My internet connection is very stable and optical power are also very good. This is happening only with play store.
Tried clearing cache as well as data, nothing works.
Any suggestions or tips are appreciated.

Does the actual download happens slow or the initial process of downloading starts slow? I have been noticing this at my end as well. It stays on pending for a long time before it actually starts downloading. And this when no other download is happening in the app.

I guess it's just a shitty google play store update.

Right, it may be a play store issue.
