Hi,
I'm from East Delhi, Patparganj.
I got the Spectranet FOX Fiber optic broadband connection installed on Sunday.
The funny thing is, the router had a different kind of power supply, which took the LAN cable from the source box and output another LAN out.
Why such a power supply?
Then the engineer who came had no idea why this is for ? I asked can I use my Netgear N600 wifi router instead of the beetel router, he bluntly said NO. What the FUCK, during the sale, I was assured that I can use any router I want and not I can not.
Anyways, after 3 days of service, the routers so called different power supply , whch does some signal processing inside (as per the installation engineer), failed and I don't have wifi at home now.
Sadly I can't use my Netgear as well, as I gave it away to a friend, adn can not check if it worked with Spectranet FOX or not.
Can anyone tell me, what does this power adapter with LAN IN and OUT does ?
And can I use any other better quality router.
