Not a chance that is too expensive and Nvidia won't lower their margins.

They might launch different boxes later to counter the Airtel STB + Gaming Box. If they have tested that specific box, there might be a purpose to it.

Ya its possible , saw an article mentioning that jio and nividia shield could launch android tv console and this is from 2016. Search on google , you will find many articles.

Got an update now from a Jio Fiber represenative that the STB will be available on 5th September. There won't be any additional cost.

@MSR Murthy He didn't mention anything about the GigaHub variant. (I don't think he remembers which model I have as the connection formalities were done by someone else.) He said it will be free and will be available on 5th September.

Let's see how it goes.

Don't know about Jio but Fastway, a MSO dominant in Punjab is also about to introduce their IPTV service. Probably will be free for their FTTH users. Here's a video of the Fastway IPTV STB in action. Credits to the video uploader.
