Reliance Jio Fiber has started its IPTV Services on a trial basis

I couldn't understood much from the packet.
It had TLSv1.2 encrypted packets (between IPs 35.208.124.80, 192.168.31.77 and 157.90.91.75) and QUIC Protocol packets which could be Chrome or any other browser data (which is also encrypted).
@mk012 were you able to identify multicast/unicast from the packet?

Did you make sure you captured when channel was playing?

@mk012 welcome. Ok, i have deleted the file from drive.
yes currently only 4 channels are playing in my stb on live tv app. While i was capturing the packets i have played all the 4 channels one by one. And while capturing i have also noticed in wireshark app that in some ip there was broadcast written next to it.

I was wondering the same. Is it multicast or unicast? Makes sense if they use multicast for live TV. And unicast only for VOD or live TV play back services.

I wonder jio has already these type of service and same app interface from the beginning in their jiotv app but later they discontinued that service and introduce jiotv+ app. So this means this live tv app is nothing new and they have already all the technology and infrastructure to start standalone iptv service but they are doesn't want to do so.

So, one of my friend who is jio employee told me a way to activate livetv. Basically, you will have to link your stb with myjio account. You will need to generate qr code which can be generated using (http://myjiopayment-hathway:RFLSBXXXXXXXXXX:N7011XXXXXXX) http://myjiopayment-hathway:RSN:NSC. These RSN and NSC id can be found behind your STB or you can also check in Live TV application. After making link like this one, make qr code of this http link (you can use any website to generate qr using google). Once QR code is generated, scan with Myjio qr scanner. It will redirect you to link account where you can link your jiofiber account with live tv. You will have to pay 100 INR for live tv. For me Live tv worked for 2-3 days, after that all channels started showing black screen. You guys can try your luck
