So @Nishant recently mentioned this one as he has been progressively replacing all fans at his place with these units.

I am considering getting one for trial before I can decide on whether to start replacing all the fans progressively as well.

Opinions?

There are four models. Need to look into difference between them. The top end model has a remote which removes the need for a regulator so that sounds cool.

Great thing is that it is also available on Flipkart and other stores these days.

Is the speed comparable to normal fans?

Coz the speeds I saw at their launch video looked quite low.

Its better to order from their own online store, except you dont get any discount coupons or card discounts. But they have quantity based discounts.

not much difference in speed as compared to normal fans, but its fast & good breeze too.. but you will find a huge difference in speed when the power switches to Inverter.

Sinewave inverter shouldn't have speed issues anyways

I think line switching to inverter shouldn't affect the speed in this case as this has a DC motor so change in AC voltage shouldn't affect the speed. This is the reason they say that a conventional regulator doesn't work with this fan. Conventional regulator reduces the voltage output which reduces the speed of a regular fan.
