So @Nishant recently mentioned this one as he has been progressively replacing all fans at his place with these units.

I am considering getting one for trial before I can decide on whether to start replacing all the fans progressively as well.

Opinions?

There are four models. Need to look into difference between them. The top end model has a remote which removes the need for a regulator so that sounds cool.

Great thing is that it is also available on Flipkart and other stores these days.

Looks interesting... This fan is basically a DC-stepper Motor based fan, right???? I have few doubts, please clarify this...

[1] In usual fans, regulators increase / decrease resistance to adjust speed and as a result energy consumed is same in ALL speed.. But here in slow speed, less energy is consumed, Am I right???
[2] Once speed is set, remote is NOT needed or can I say even without remote the fan can operate (@ old speed setting) ??
[3] Is it possible to switch the fan ON and OFF by remote too??

I will definitely look for this, when I am going to replace an old fan...

Company is based in Coimbatore my home town. Myself required 6 fans for my flat in May 2015
I asked my dad to buy one piece for trial in CBE last year 2014.
My brother uses it for past 4 months no issues, i checked it personally,
Last week he said remote issue. he went in to direct showroom changed it for free.

Just got the replacement delivered today. They sent me a full set. Would be installing it maybe tomorrow. Will post a short review after I get this up and running.

Installed it today and the replacement is working fine. The top speed of this fan is higher than my 7 year old fan. The air delivery too is better than my old fan. Here are some pics.

This is a slight downer. The LED is always on when the fan is off. The illumination from the LED is quite bright and this could be distracting in the night when one feels chilly and decides to turn off the fan and this LED would light up the whole room. Will have to check during the night.

Here's the remote. The breeze mode is quite nice. It automatically keeps varying the speed at intervals just like we get breeze outside. There are 5 speeds and we can even manually adjust the speed using those up and down arrow keys. The buttons light up when in dark (radium or whatever it's called). The LED blinks to denote the speed i.e. if we press 3, the LED blinks thrice. The speed toggling option from the switch is working too but is a bit tricky.

Thanks for the update. How noisy is the fan, though? Does the motor or the blades make any audible sound? The fans I have in the living room and study room are noisy as hell.

Checked their website and they do have a dealer in Delhi. Guess I'll buy 1 to start with.
