Tata Sky DTH has ran out of HD boxes?

I booked TS HD box on 21st and they told me it will take them 5 days to deliver and install.. Today I got a call from them saying we don't have HD boxes in stock so it will take some more time .. I was like WTF man .. how can u promise something when u don't have stock available for it ..Just simply tell customers at the time of booking only tht its not in stock .. idiots .. I hope I can get one before WC gets over

Well they got more bookings than expected and their STB is really good, so actually you can't blame them for the same. Be patient the good thing is that you have ordered under the special offer which is there only till mid july.

Ask them to refund the money if they have taken anything and move to Dish or Airtel.

everyone is same dude .. plus I don't have prob with TS except this issue of giving incorrect deadlines..If we keep changing service providers on every issue than we have to change it every second day

Agree with Hitman changing a service provider every time would not be the right solution, this way you will run out of providers in a few years.

Got hd box installed just few mins back .. HD channels quality is awesome .. I can't see any difference between 720p and 1080i .. Wht u guys suggest.. on wht resolution should I keep it ??But there is hell lot of difference between SD and HD channels .. wish all channels r in HD One thing I noticed is tht .. the new software don't have tht page up/down feature .. Can anyone using HD box confirm it ..

The page up and page down feature is not needed, cause you can browse the channels via the "Genre" button.

but if there is long list of channels in a particular genre so we have to scroll one by one .. tht's y I am missing tht page up/down function ..

Wow .. not sure wht is taking them so long.. have u lodged a complain?? I booked for HD box on 21st and they told me tht I got to wait for 5 days .. On 24th I got a call from them saying I have to wait 3-4 days more cos boxes r not available..But yesterday TS installation guy called me and asked me if he can come and install the box .. So I got it installed yesterday ..U better ask the customer care guys they will give u an update ..
