Say sorry to him for abusing and request not to drag it further... only that can end the story peacefully if you abused him and he has recorded.

thanks rest for suggestion. no call from last 15 mins . but still i am contemplating a police action ...

already did this , he still kept on calling ..

Just tell him that you have registered a complaint with police and your number is under there observation. I don't think he will dare to call you again.

Offtopic: Why don't you get tata indicom walky or reliance wireless landline if you want a landline at your home? The basic model costs 900bucks and it has this call blocking function.

Man my mtnl number is 10 years old .. everyone in our family , friends has it .. not possible to change now

Oh! I thought you abused him first after getting irritated by frequent calls. But still try to solve the problem keeping your cool.. Off course you have police option you can go anytime.

Well - Will not suggest doing it here. But, once we were getting blank calls - with someone just laughing coarsely occasionally. I closed up all windows/doors.. setup my tape recorder in full volume for a second... and then pressed pause.. Next time the call came, I picked and made sure it was the same person.. then took the phone next to the speaker and released the pause... for five seconds... Never received a call again... P.S. I was a teenage kid. Would not do it now... Who knows what can happen to the guy at the other end.
