The Ridiculous Airtel Broadband Plans

They told me they cannot provide for my location....I am between the two prime residential area Koramangala and HSR Layout. They have even stuck posters and banners on trees and roadside poles. Probably they are targeting new customers from other ISPs with the high speed plans while they continue to suck the blood of us exsiting customers.

I think their network is just not capable of anything above 4 mbps and they have "launched" these new plans mostly for PR only, that is to show to the customers that they are not far behind ISPs like Beam and Act etc.

Nope. I got 8Mbps in Sarjapur Road. One of my friends got 8Mbps as well near BEML gate. I think they are slowly upgrading their network - but want to create PR against Act & You which are furiously adding subscribers with their high speed networks.

Hello guys i am new to this forum , i am living in new Delhi and i used to have airtel's 4mbps internet plan which gave me 75 gb and post that 256 kbps , but now as the tariffs have changed i am seeking to choose one plan , i am a HEAVY downloader and can finish 30 gb data in 1-2 weeks time , i need your advice on two plans , ELECTRIC 30 GB and RAPID 80 GB please suggest me for which plan should i go for? and if you know any other good plan please tell me regards

we are really not in a position to tell you which plan suits you. you need to see how much is your usage and how much you are willing to pay. there is of course the option of ditching airtel completely and migrate to mtnl or some other local operator.

first of all thanks for your reply,
now my budget for internet MAX is 2100 rs , and the second thing you told me to ditch airtel is that i dont know other ISP at all , can you tell me a cheaper ISP in new delhi which provides faster than the airtel ?
regards

lol. i hear good stuff about mtnl all the time. you can ask around and see how their service support is in your locality. plus you can also check out smaller companies that might be offering services in your region. point is, airtel is no longer a company worth sticking too.
