what is the procedure to surrender mtnl triband connection ?

Hello , does anyone know about the procedure of surrendering mtnl triband connection ?does a call to the cc suffice or we have to go to the exchange ?

Go to exchange, clear all ur dues(outstanding) Give termination request on plain paper. Go to Broadband Dept(Back office) Hand over the application to babus sitting over there, they will stamp ur form. Now submit this form to QCS, if u have MTNL router they will send someone to collect it, if u have ur own router, u have got a new paperweight. Finally u will be tension free. Its really headache.

if modem is provided by MTNL then just take it to exchange when submitting surrender letter. because once when i had gone to exchange i overheard conversation of mtnl staff and person:"modem MTNL ka hain na to woh pehle leke aao"make sure that u write in letter that, "i am returning modem provided by MTNL with this letter.", because otherwise u wont get proof that u returned the modem.
