Is this for real?? I am sure there is a catch.
How can a scanner scan rotating parts and the gaps between them? It wud need high power x-ray machines.
And even after that, how can a printer leave the HOLE between the printed POWDER, so that parts can move?

3D scanner? the object is first rendered in 3D and then sent to the printer. and the object is made in floating state. he dug out the printed tool from a powdery base. i understand what you are trying to say here... creating moving parts sounds like a very complicated procedure. that is the reason why this technology is so new/expensive/proprietary!
