Airtel Broadband to double broadband speeds by June 2010 #airtelsucks

even I got a call today from airtel presence that my 1299 Turbo has been upgraded to 1 mbps. However when i asked about the FUP, they told me to contact CC. Will have to check once i get back home.

Have 2 connections... and the speed of both connections seem to have doubled. Freedom 1699 connection at home is now getting 2 mbps and the office connection turbo 1299 started getting 1mbps since 3.30 pm in the afternoon. Lets hope finally the speeds have been doubled in the Delhi NCR region for all...cheers !!

i called up CC. They did not acknowledge my doubling of the speed. Some how the guys at Toll free CC (18001030121) seem to be more dumb than the guys at local CC (0124-4444555).

well dont think my night speed has been double on 1299 plan still getting 1mbps

Actually I'm not getting 1mbps day or night! Its .75mbps both day and night!

FINALLY............ My speed is now 2.2Mbps since 9:00 P.M. 27th July'2010 (Freedom 1699).. Reset Modem/Power cycle everything still 2.2Mbps... So AIRTEL DID IT..:clap::thumb:My Location: Lajpat Nagar-4,New Delhi
