My speed test reading from BSNL speed tester is:

(Download Rate at 6.38 KB/sec)

My plan is Dataone Home 500 (256 Kbps and upto 2Mbps)

BSNL Speed Test is Fake

use this

ping 192.168.1.1 -t

if your result is TTL=64
and Primary DNS TTL=115
Secondary DNS TTL=249

then your server speed is 64 kbps and so on as per the plan you have taken from exchange to your home your data card is shared by other users.


as per the TRAI norms "Broadband" means 256 kbps and above.
If your service provider is not maintaining this speed then you can directly write your written complaints to telecom tribunal and TRAI.

whenever I check my connection speed, it's around 39.3 kbps (means 4.9 KBps download rate)I dont know how this meter works but I am sure that it has problems. :wall:I have 500 plan and technically I should get a bb speed of 256 to 2000 kbps. When I run the test my torrent downloading speed shows 60-70 KBps so there must be something wrong in dataone bandwidth meter...
