Yeah... that was a mistake while typing, I meant to ask that about Airtel disconnection only (corrected while you were responding I guess) ...

well the thing is pretty clear. my issues with airtel are such which cannot be resolved by their retention team. i am not looking for a special deal. i am not going to be tempted by a retention plan. it's not like i am moving to bsnl to save money (i hardly save 100-150 rupees). i am moving because of smartbytes. i am moving because of degrading customer service. both of which are not going to be resolved just like that. also of course, their new stupid plans. the best plan available in my area (if i decide to get a new connection) has just 80GB of data transfer. **** that shit.

so here is what i am going to do. i have around 97GB remaining in my airtel account. the plan is to consume all this in the next couple of days. and apply for a disconnection.

how will you consume 97 GB in just 2 days?

In internet parlance, couple is just a generalisation of 2 or more days.At 4 mbps, he could practically download around 1.5GB per hour. That's like 36 GB per day but when you download, there will be a bit more data sent and received than the actual download. Airtel will in any case show data usage than you actually download. You can safely say that at full throttle, around 40GB will be spent per day. He can consume 97 in under 3 days.

gift to airtel? they are going to steal from me anyways. based on my past and other people's experiences... they would charge me for at least 15 days extra by delaying the disconnection anyways.i can apply for a disconnection already but i do not want to risk them doing their job properly by accident. :D

umm some HD stuff..

prefer quantity over quality. now that i am switching to bsnl, i have to be prepared for bad days (downtimes :D ).
