Line got checked and also the telephone lines are connected after the splitter. But still ADSL starts blinking whenever phone rings:huh: Could it be a splitter problem?
Here is a screenshot my ADSL stats

Hmm. That is a bit far. But yours is definitely a line problem. Ask your exchange to check the line, they can do this from the exchange, apart from what the linesman does at your end. It might help if you can meet the SDE for area.
Here is the log details

and i changed my modulation type from ADSL2+ to G.dmt and now ADSL is not blinking everytime the phone rings(which was the case earlier), but it disconnects sometimes now, whenever phone rings.
@tyger. The 2nd image clearly states that you have a line problem. Its better to get your line checked.
What's the problem in the second image?
I will tell the MTNL guys. It has been happening since 2 weeks now and whenever i tell them to check the line, they do check the line and they say that it should be alright now.
@tyger. Just tell them that your line is generating lots of errors. BTW, if possible meet the person incharge. If possible mail the person who is responsible http://delhi.mtnl.net.in/glance/organization.htm
