yup, but that thread is likely to get less participation if it never shows up in the current topics even if someone reply's to it, until unless someone clicks on view new content tab :

Well I just do not want to give a strange impression to new users landing on the forum. I mean it has been a long time I have posted about broadband on the forum. So, either I pivot and turn this into a general technology related forum or we can just live with that box on the homepage. In any case, I have no idea how IPB4 would operate or whether I would move to XenForo in the coming weeks.
