You are overestimating the capabilities of regular web users. I have a clear message on the Contact Us page on this forum: https://broadband.forum/contactus/

I still get tens of messages from people asking me to install broadband connection at their home/office or provide customer support for their existing connection.

It should appear once every month. Of course, it would appear if you clean up your cookies frequently.

Should not happen. I have not seen it appear in a long time now. And no it is not a forum component so it does not matter if you are logged in or not. :| You can always block the domain sumome.com to get rid of it.

the app behaves the same way for me as you. and it does not appear for me on every session. it is not supposed to. if it did, i am sure we would have had more complaints by now. maybe your antivirus software is cleaning up third party cookies?

When i click "What's new", is there any way to ensure that nothing from deals and online shopping section are displayed ?
Everytime i click what's new, i realize this is more of a deals forum with random deals from known and unknown websites being posted than anything else tech related.
Or may be rename to broadband and deals forum ?

you can select the forums from the left section. there is an option named Filter by forum. you can restrict it to forums you prefer. once you create the URL i think it can be bookmarked. my net is quite slow right now because of fuped so i cannot give you an example.

Ok. Just played with it. It is not very intuitive. It is easier to select forums you want to get updates from than exclude them. So if you only want to exclude deals (and movies and television), you would have to work hard on selecting all others.
