While I still look for a good option to show recent posts on the homepage, I have added a widget to the sidebar. It is auto updating. I have asked the developer if he can modify it to support showing the widget above the forum list. Let's see.

Is it possible for the widget to display only the post titles and the userid? post content is adding to the scroll.

Well i am only getting one email from a thread not like every reply in email.

Are you going to bring merging of the two consecutive replies?

I cannot change XenForo behavior. If it decides to send one update per thread, it's how it is.

Right. It notifies only if the new post was unread. Something like that. No option to get notified on each reply.

IPB sent updates for all responses right? That was stupid behavior. What if you were out of station for a week and a thread exploded? Having one update for updates in an unread thread is better because you can go through the thread from one single notification.
