wifi component is more or less useless. my only issue was stability. once that was sorted out by LG guy, it has been working fine so far.

Try to get the price of the same model from Croma, Vijay Sales, LG outlets if you can. There is a good chance you can get a better deal from offsite stores. If not, Amazon's the way to go.

If I were you, I would compare the difference and would go with offline store if they are on the higher side by a small margin. After sales support matters and if you have good terms with the dealer then he would help you if things go haywire after warranty expires.

I bought this exact same model about a couple of months back, well actually I ordered a different old model with turbowash (still unsure about if this actually helps), but this got delivered instead, cause I asked for one with a recent manufacturing date. so far so good.

About the vibration, its mostly caused on uneven surfaces, so my technician had to do some alignment. The package also came with some rubber sticky things which the technician said he will install if the issue persists in future.

I mostly went with LG cause the service is good. I had a semi automatic before this, and it was a over 16 years old, and yet LG managed to provide me with replacement parts!

As for detergent, the technician suggested me to use liquid ones, as if the powder is not cleared properly, they tend to harden and difficult to clean.

oooh. you have a machine without turbowash? the only thing it seems to do in my case is that it speeds up the washing time. without turbowash most cycles would take 1.5 to 3 hours. pressing the turbowash button basically halves that time. i don't think we run cycles that are more than an hour unless you are using the steam function. i would suggest getting the model with turbowash unless you use the machine with full load on a regular basis. at my place, clothes are washed on a daily basis so we prefer smaller wash cycles. before i switched to pods, i just used the 15 minute cycle. now i run the machine every second or third day when there are enough clothes for a pod (8-10 pieces).

as for the powder recommendation. powder for stuff that you do not really wear. like towels and bedsheets. i have switched to pods for my own cloth. mom switch between pods and liquid based on the amount of clothing in the machine. pods for a medium load. liquid for a bigger load. i know it's a mess but i stock up items when they are on sale and i usually have all three in stock at any given time so it has become usual to cycle between them based on what you are washing. but if you want to stick to a single product, i would suggest liquid as it does not mess up the tray and is tend to be softer on the cloths.

and of course, if you have hard water in your area, keep a descaling solution or powder with you and use it regularly.

Regularly? I was told that I would need to use it once in a month, and yes we have hard water.

Which descaling powder do you use? the ones provided by LG costs about 400 for 3 sachets. Too pricey to be used regularly.

Regularly I mean over the life of the Machine

I am using Amazon Presto liquid descaler. It's pretty cheap.

Reviews are bad so I guess it is not a good product
