Actually Snapseed might be the culprit since I use that for editing. The unedited ones seem to be usually <2mb but the Snapseed ones are massive

right. snapseed probably does not compress images by design.
 
Magic Eraser can detect distractions in your photos, like people in the background, power lines and power poles, and suggest what you might want to remove. Then, you can choose whether to erase them all at once or tap to remove them one by one.

The demo was pretty cool. There is no reason it should be Pixel 6 exclusive but for the time being it seems to be.
 
I am guessing it would be released as a Google One feature on Google Photos. It does not work in realtime so really do not need the Tensor processor.
