Try creating a shared link from the mobile app. That 'might have' triggered the web app for me.

I'm not liking the mobile app. It's also considering the pics under the 'Downloads' folder and 'Cymera' (a 3rd party app) folder under Camera and uploading them too.

you can disable upload feature for individual folders :speechless:

Sidebar > Device Folders

Already tried that. But it doesn't show the Cymera and Downloads folder.
By default it automatically shows them directly in the 'Camera' folder.

i am guessing you would need to find a way to take them out of the default camera folder.

Yeah that's annoying. Because every other Gallery App shows them under a separate folder.
And I don't know why this thing is happening.

Three folders:
Downloads
DCIM/Camera
Pictures/Cymera2

These 3 get merged automatically in the Photos app.

That does not make any sense considering they are not nested folders. Can you post a screenshot?
