A bit offtopic:Just heard a guy shouting in the train that someone has stolen his Htc One X from his pocket. Someone has taken advantage of today's train disruption in Mumbai and sneaked off his phone. He was really pissed off and almost weeping. Felt very sad for him. Someone from the crowd asked his number and called, but it was already switched off.Doesn't this have a mobile tracker on board like Samsung Android phones?

He was lucky .. He doesn't have to go through the trauma like Shusubh :D

i actually can find nothing on htcsense.com it's like they have discontinued everything they offered on that platform.

Oh.. Thats too bad... Not sure if it was taken off on existing devices also, which were sold with that promotion, cos one of my uncles got a HTC mobile (Desire, I think) because he felt thats a worthy feature & was asking my help to kind of show it will need to be done, if required (1-2 years ago)

i do read that they discontinued the backup feature from htc sense. apart from that nothing.

why someone having htc one x in pocket, was travelling by train (it must be a local train)?

may be offensive to say, but I wont be purchasing htc one x if had to travel by train.

i actually bought 2 cargoes after buying the one x phone :D of course i would be very careful with the phone when traveling in public transport. it applies to any phone actually. it's not that only expensive phones are stolen in crowds. thieves would steal anything that is accessible to them.

Sometimes it is also about convenience. I have a car, but if I have an option, I would rather use the metro, not because petrol is costly (honestly for my usage it never troubled me), but because it is far more convenient that way.
