I suggest that members who are having problems to check out
1) Tweaking for speed - dslreports.com

@socratesdo a "ping 192.168.1.1 -t" and leave it for the entire duration of pc use.notice when u can access the router and after 1 min when u cant access the router. see if the 1ms time in the cmd window increases. if it does at anypoint during the entire use that means a driver issue for the ethernet card.

@Irus Now 59.185.0.23 server is down only this is working 203.94.227.70, just look at the shit snr I am getting :(

I don't know if I am jumping the gun but when I enabled 'Firewall' in my D-Link DSL 502T I seem to be able to access the modem setting page at will. Others having this problem please try this & confirm either way :)

Also noticed that on the mode MTNL has changed the Alternate DNS server to 59.185.0.50

@socrates as per this Surispace.NET Expected speed on your ADSL2+ connection

your distance from exchange is around 3 kms and max speed possible 7-8 mbps even with that snr/line attenuation uve shown in the screenshot!

go outside and see if ure wire is wrapped with some other electric/cable wallahs wires or is just hanging in air. interference cud be because of that. try getting twisted pair of telephone wire installed away from other wires if they are all going in a bunch.

if u cant find a twisted telephone wire then try cat5 tho that will be quite expensive. i've got an untwisted regular phone line but its installed separate from all other peoples telephone wires in the building. it does help. but if there is no choice then twisted line is the way to go.

also u can try another router ive heard D-Link isnt great. wa3002g4 is pretty good. ask mtnl for issuing u one of these.! also try setting the modulation to auto.
