In my opinion, they will do it once they have a near monopoly and huge consumer base. Also, their symmetrical upload/download needs to be seen when their network gets chocked. Jio mobile data when launched was good, now it's performance is subpar due to congestion.
Then again, if they have a very large base, they might not increase due to huge profits.
Again, this is wishful thinking. Only time will tell.
 
wired market is unlikely to see the boom that wireless market saw with the arrival of jio. most people just use the internet on their phones and they have no need for a wired connection at their homes. there is a major difference between using a 200 rupee plan on your phone which you carry with you 24x7 and paying for a 500 rupee plan for your home which only makes sense if you have a computer at home.

for WFH and even decent general use is not possible with mobile. Lot of network and speed problem.
