I've BSNL FTTH 100 Mbps plan, looking for a ONT so that I can return the one given by the BSNL.

My current Device: Huawei HG850a

Looking for a ONT which I can bridge to my router running OpenWRT, so I don't need any fancy stuffs. A gigabit port and a reliable brand is enough for me.

Please provide the links to buy, affiliate links are welcome.

Hey,just to add my opinion,it would be way better to get a XPON ONT.First,If you are going to use the ONT in bridge mode, you should not care about brand except for GIGABIT ETHERNET PORT and TRANSPARENT Bridge mode for almost negligible performance reliance on ONT.
That's all.
Looking forward to your choice and experience on choose product.

Yeah, thinking for the same. But the thing is, the lack of availability.

In Amazon & Flipkart none of them are available. We have to order on sites like crtindia or IndiaMart and again I don't know how trustworthy they are.

I think Netlink have launched a XPON ont.
Please consult with @varkey in this regards.
As far as I know, there is a XPON ONT generic by Chinese ODM which is used by netlink,Syrotech and all others.
It is available at almost every district. Please ask the nearby LCO as he may direct you to correct person.
I have(had) a sharpvision xpon ont which is essentially same.
It has two ethernet port, one gigabit and and one 100 Mbit.It has WiFi also,2.4 GHz directional antenna.
I think you should check with LCO.
AFAIK,XPON ONT is only available in this configuration as of now.
Contact syrotech to get emails of nearby seller. It will cost around 2k.
My ONT cost me 1800.
Syrotech has good design of outer cover.Else,it is same.
You can also contact sharpvision.
Check with all possible options.
IMO it would be great to have this one as it can act as dumb bridge and can be used as backup easily in case router have any issues in future.
