BTW @shreeyash just to note FYI that this issue is nationwide for BSNL not just Maharashtra. Some people are getting info that this is just maintenance and some people are being told it is due to a botnet malware DDoS attack :D

I switched to my backup connection (Airtel 4G wifi router) and wow browsing is so much more responsive even though the speeds are just 10-20 mbps! Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 ping is under 50 ms on this compared to BSNL which gives 300 ms latencies.

@vishalrao The DDoS thing might actually be true as everything is pretty f***d up right now. And I am actually experiencing this from past 2 weeks at least rather than 5 to 6 days as stated by LCO. Hope they resolve this ASAP.

Looks like you are using Google DNS?

If I do "nslookup archive.neon.kde.org 8.8.8.8" then I get an IP from singapore, if I use 1.1.1.1 then I get singapore and sometimes an IP from local India location, so BSNL routing is screwed up badly in the last few days.
Yep I'm using Google dns I got back 117 series will do tracert and report bck.

So today again all day have been facing intermittent issues in website connectivity, it works for some time then for a few seconds websites don't open and rinse and repeat. Also got a 59.x.x.x series IP which indicates failover to backup system.
Happen same here. got same ip rage too.

i happen to used exitlag sofware gaming VPN but its 3 days trail its working perfectly. so, its there is any free vpn i can use ...i hv used some but they hav high ping

@Nitin OK i try that VPN and i tried that trick too, you know what??? damn works for me before 110+ ping plus 10-20-30 loss to 88-89 ping without loss. thanks dude...
