Problems with Tata DOCOMO Mobile Service

regarding gprs have you set gprs settings to TATA DOCOMO INTERNET or TATADOCOMO DIVE IN
Its set to that only. Won't be using the DIVE IN as I've already subscribed to the 2GB/Month plan.

regarding sms try putting docomo sim in another phone
I've tried that already yesterday. Still no luck
.. I've even tried other DoCoMo SIM of my dad which I got at he same time. It also wasn't able to send the messages -__-"
I hope TATA has a good reason.
I'm bored of this already.

I've set it to GSM and all other options are the same. Restarted the Phone. Sent SMS. FAIL -_-;

always.. after making the settings,, power OFF and wait for some minutes of time. and ON the mobile,, then check things.. because.. the server from telecom should also update.. your settings.. to that side..

dive in usage is if u have not gone for any pack of rs 15- Rs95 with docomo.. and u want to use internet .. then use dive in..
other wise.. tata docomo internet for using with recharges of mobile internet with Rs15- Rs48 - Rs 95

I've waited for about 5 minutes before powering it on. Still no luck.

never use dive in when u have paid with monthly plans or special data plans.. if u still use dive in .. then it uses.. your default balance.. and your default calling balance will be used.. and soon there will be zero balance.

as the matter of fact i have docomo but it has some network problems in my state and i had some sim problem too as after switching my phone on, always it took 15-20 min to get signal, but its gprs is one of the fastest in himachal pradesh..

if sms sending was not possible using your dad's docomo sim too,then it might be docomo's fault !

in opera advanced settings the protocol should be set to socket not http...

in my opinion go for bsnl 3g ,its internet is super fast. im using it now and opera works like charm, google maps show my correct place and i can even chat using applications like nimbuzz and ebuddy
